Compress an image to about 100KB
Flat tints and screenshots can approach 100KB easily; noisy photos may need smaller dimensions. Use width/height plus quality until your download lands in range.
Resize Options
Upload images with drag & drop, choose from preset sizes, or enter custom dimensions. High-quality output, instant preview, and free to use.
Practical workflow
Set the longest side between 800px and 1400px depending on subject. Drop JPEG quality into the 60–80 band and re-run until the preview still looks acceptable.
Transparent UI shots often compress better as WebP after PNG→WebP conversion than as ultra-low JPEG.
If you cannot hit 100KB
Reduce resolution further or crop empty margins. Very detailed photos may not fit 100KB at usable dimensions — consider linking a hosted full-size image instead of attaching.
Our temporary upload flow helps when you only need a short-lived proof attachment.
